Award-winning cheeses handmade by students and guided by a skilled fromagère in the art of traditional small batch artisan caseiculture. Our cheeses are created using high quality farm fresh milk from our WKU Smart Holstein working research herd. 

For the second year in a row, Hilltopper Creamery submitted entries in the Kentucky State Fair dairy competition. We are proud to announce our history of excellence continues into 2023 where we earned a Blue Ribbon in every class entered and brought home our first Flavored High Moisture Gold Medal! 3 of our 4 entries are new recipes developed over the last year. 2023’s winning varieties are Mild Cheddar (Blue), Taco Cheddar (Blue), Garlic Herb Cheddar (Blue), and Jalapeno Pepper Jack (Gold).
